Brigadier Anshuman Narang,
Retired
Brigadier Anshuman Narang Retired is an alumni of prestigious Rashtriya Indian Military College. He holds the "Adani Defence Chair of Excellence" on Counter-UAS at CENJOWS and is the Founder of an independent Think-Tank "Atma Nirbhar Soch". A keen China watcher and author of three books, his PhD topic is "Chinese RMA & Centennial Goals - Implications for India". His fourth book "PLA's ORBAT Compendium" is under publishing. He has attended courses in all quad countries- American Artillery's Captain Career Course, Australian Joint Warfare Course & Japanese National Institute of Defence Studies Course. He took voluntarily retirement after commanding a prestigious Composite Artillery Brigade in October 2024.

Maj Gen PJS Sandhu
Major General Sandhu was commissioned into the 8th Light Cavalry on 15 June 1966 and later commanded 47 Armoured Regiment. He retired as Chief of Staff, 1 Corps on 31 July 2003.
Post retirement, he worked as Deputy Director and Editor at the USI from 2007 – 2016. He was also the Honorary Director of Gyan Chakra, a think tank established and supported by HQ Western Command from January – August 2019.
He visited China in 2008 to participate in the Second Xiangshan Forum and again led a USI delegation to China in 2013 at the invitation of the China Institute for International Strategic Studies (CIISS).
He has done extensive research on India’s wars since Independence. He has contributed to and edited a USI Study titled “1962 – A View from Other Side of the Hill” which was released in 2015. He is a keen student of Military History, Strategy and Geo-politics.

Srikanth Kondapalli
Srikanth Kondapalli is Professor in Chinese Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University. He was former Dean of School of International Studies, JNU from 2022-24. He was Chairman of the Centre for East Asian Studies, SIS, JNU from 2008-10, 2012-14, 2016-18, 2018-20 and in 2022. He is Chair Professor under the Chair of Excellence of Ministry of Defence since August 2022. He is educated in Chinese studies in India and China with a Ph.D. in Chinese Studies. He learnt Chinese language at Beijing Language & Culture University and was a post-Doctoral Visiting Fellow at People’s University, Beijing from 1996-98.
He is a guest faculty at Indian armed forces units, including at the National Defence College, Army War College, College of Air Warfare, College of Naval Warfare, and College of Defence Management. He is a distinguished fellow at several think-tanks including Vivekananda International Foundation and Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies.
